Travel Insurance Direct Ireland is able to offer a travel insurance policy which adds cover for motorcycle touring in Europe to its comprehensive travel insurance.

This is an ideal policy for motorcyclists touring or just travelling through Europe. Most travel insurance policies are not able to cover for motorcycle related injury claims.

The Travel Insurance Motorcycle Travel Insurance policy can cover you when riding your own bike up to *1800cc.

Motorcycle Travel Insurance is added by selecting either the single trip or annual travel insurance quote and ticking the Motorcycle Cover tick box (if it is not already ticked). This cover is available for Europe only.

*Cover is available for motorcycling riding your own motorcycle only and excludes trial / track riding or racing. Cover is available for bikes up to 1500cc, or up to 1800cc where the rider is over 35 year of age and has at least two years experience of riding a comparable motorcycle.

There is no Personal Liability cover or Personal Accident** cover for motorcycle related claims.

**Personal Accident cover is that relating to compensation in the event of loss of limb, loss of sight, or death. Please do not confuse Personal Accident with Medical Expenses which is not affected provided you have paid for motorcycle cover.
